CERTKEEP / Is our team too small for a register?

Five people. Three courses each. Fifteen dates to find.

That is an example, not a required course list. A register becomes useful when finding the next date takes more effort than keeping the list up to date. You do not need a large workforce to reach that point.

A review you can repeat.

  1. Count the entries you need, not just the people. One person with a card, first-aid certificate and another course would use three rows. Use the calculator below to estimate your own list.
  2. Try a real task: find the dates that need attention before your next job or rota. If your spreadsheet already answers that reliably, keep using it. A consistent review matters more than the software.
  3. If dates are spread across sheets and messages, open your existing spreadsheet in the free checker. Review the red and amber flags, correct the original evidence where needed and print a renewal chart for your next review.
  4. For a saved CertKeep register, start with up to 10 records free. Add only the course details you actually need. Pro holds up to 1,000 records; the limit counts courses per person, not staff seats.
